One part that bothers me most about my Android phone, is having to make a backup every few days . If it is something essential in any smartphone which needs back up  often, then there are only few programs or applications that do this job decently. It is true that we can neglect certain types of data to which we do not give importance (such as registration of contacts, the SMS list and call log), or because we have them synchronized in other ways (for example : contacts Google).Although it is also true, there are some users who need to safeguard all those files .

As I said, there are applications that make backing up your data and / or applications. And still others, in addition to that copy, synchronize data with  cloud . Today I bring an application that stands out from the others. This includes options beyond the conventional ones, such as the list of contacts, call logs and SMS.

G Cloud Backup is very easy to use , at the same time very practical . With a simple  and intuitive interface , at first start it will ask us to create a user profile. That done, it take you to a screen where you will see a list and  select what things we include in our backup . The list includes contacts , call logs , messages , documents, images , music and videos .

One of the major shortcomings of the application is that you can not make a in depth  selection of what we want or do not save. We can not choose to save images or videos, but we must keep it all. This is a pretty big limitation , since the application itself restricted the size of the copy to 1GB .

Once the selection is complete, connect to the Internet, it will start the copy process. When it get finished, we can decide whether to activate the option that the application makes a backup every day or not . In addition, of course there are other options such as trigger a notification to let us know when to run the backup process or whether we want to do backups only when connected to a WiFi network .

And all this is free? Well, no . The application itself is free, but as I said before, only have 1GB of space available. A more than enough in most cases, but falls far short of that I have in Box 50GB or 5GB I have in Dropbox (for the face, both). If we have infinite storage, we have two options: a monthly payment of 2'49 € or an annual payment of € 30'45 ,

Source From Delhi has just dropped their Good announcement for the developers in India .The Company has announced Android Developers in India has the right to sell their products (apps and Games ) via Google Market .

According to Android Blog ,

Ibrahim Elbouchikhi, product manager of the Google Play team said,

"Developers in India can sell paid applications, in-app products, and subscriptions in Google Play, with monthly payouts to their local bank accounts." 

The Post also Stated another Good news to the Developers,

"Along with seller support, we're also adding buyer's currency support for India." 

Reason behind the announcement :
As per the Post stated ,

"Over the past year, Android device activations in India have jumped more than 400%. In the last six months, Android users in India downloaded more apps than in the previous three years combined, and India has rocketed to become the fourth-largest market worldwide for app downloads."

Google has rolled out another update to its Translate app for Android, adding Google Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology.
Now all you need to do is click!

2. Point at the text and tap to freeze.
3. Then brush with your finger over the particular text you want to translate.
4. Translated text pops onto the screen.

Note: Users will still be able to use the text to speech option.

5.  Type in the command "su", and then "cat /sdcard/Id".
6.  The 18-character string is your Android ID. Copy it down and keep it.

Restoring Android ID :

1. After upgrading Youwave, follow steps 1-5 above.
2. Assuming your previously recorded Android ID is "123456789012345678", type in the command "echo 123456789012345678 > /sdcard/Id". (case sensitve).

S - Voice will respond your wish or request , soon it will respond to you , similar to Siri from Iphone but not the same application(No comparison between the two app as both are unique)

It is a official app and its been only released or available for the samsung galaxy s3 . few weeks back the features has been introduced and the firmware been rolled out soon the hackers are hacked the application and made it to work in other mobiles but samsung has blocked this feature apart from the device galaxy s3 it is blocked !.
but you can still make this application work with few tweeks by

• modifiying the application Build.prop -> ro.product device from Galaxy nexus to GT-I9003 and the ro.product model as same .

some still strugggle to make it to work as it get network error.. i found this app in the xda which is been hacked specially for the GALAXY NEXUS device .. full credits goes to the deveoper of xda and am just sharing you the stuff ..

• uninstall the previous svoice apk and download the fixed link below 
• disable wifi and other network 
• install the apk and run it 
• NOTE : first attempt it throws network error(because of disabling the networks )
• second time enable the network you wish (wifi or data network) and run it 

 snaps of the app working in my Galaxy nexus device 

 

NOTE :

• FIRST TIME YOU HAVE TO WORK IT WITHOUT NETWORK (IE) NO WIFI OR DATA NETWROK!!! .
• APK WILL THROWS NETWORK ERROR IN "FIRST ATTEMPT " because of no wifi and no network DONT WORRY SECOND TIME ENABLE IT AND USE IT .
• UNINSTALL THE PREVIOUS AND INSTALL IT FRESH ( DONT OVERWRITE )
• HAVE NOT TESTED ON OTHER DEVICE, KINDLY REPORT ME IF IT DOESNT WORK ON OTHER DEVICE
