If VirtualBox is installed on your pc, YouWave can only be installed on Windows guests, not on your host machines. Please do not install YouWave on the host machine unless you have VirtualBox uninstalled.
Before upgrading to next version of youwave, you may want to save your Android ID.
About Android ID :
If you play online multiuser games, you may have used Android ID to enable your unique online identity. Therefore you may want to backup your current Android ID before upgrading to a new version of Youwave, since it is not automatically preserved across versions.
Steps
Backup your Android ID
- Click on "Home"
- Click on "Apps" icon in between the phone and globe icons. The panels displaying all the installed apps appears.
- Locate and click on "Dev Tools"
- Scroll down to "Terminal Emulator" and click on it. The display changes to text-based terminal with blue background.
- Type in the command "su", and then "cat /sdcard/Id".
- The 18-character string is your Android ID. Copy it down and keep it.
Restoring Android ID :
- After upgrading Youwave, follow steps 1-5 above.
- Assuming your previously recorded Android ID is "123456789012345678", type in the command "echo 123456789012345678 > /sdcard/Id". (case sensitve).
